The Magazine

Project Managing
We were 27 students in our class and there were 19 pages to layout and create. We got a rough sketch on what needed to be included in the magazine, such as interviews, predetermined ads and a map of Svenska Mässan of where you can find the exhibitors. Myself and Anna Lundberg were project managers during the process of designing the magazine. We didn't have our own pages to work on but we held some interviews and kept in touch with the client to make sure that our classmates got the information they needed.
The Exhibition Booth
Visualizing
When the magazine was ready and sent to the press, it was time for us to make our own exhibition booth. We all made a mockup each in SketchUp of what we would want the booth to look like. Unfortunately, my proposal stumbled on the finish line and came in second. The winning design was made by Mea Simic (the second image). After we had decided on the design, the class was divided into groups to make our vision reality.

The Print Group

My group was the print and activity group. We made all of the printed materials for our booth. That included informational flyers, postcards and vinyl stickers for the booth, as well as giveaways in the form of stickers and tote bags. I was in charge of the tote bag, one of the stickers and the vinyl stickers for the booth.

Activities
Pyramid Gift Box
To make our visitors stay with us a little longer we needed an activity. We were deciding between having them make their own patterns, drawing their own illustrations and many other things. But we wanted the activity to reflect what we do at IP. It ended up with us making a template for a small pyramid gift box, where the visitors would have the opportunity to design one themselves, or pick an existing pattern.
