OTW
I first worked with Swedac during my internship at OTW Gothenburg. I worked alongside one of the Art Directors, Fredrik Sehlstedt, on both social media content, requirements and guidance documents for Swedac (the Swedish Board for Accreditation and Conformity Assessment). Since then, I have gotten to do some freelance work at OTW which included making Swedacs annual report from 2024 accessible.
Accessibility
PAC
With the European Accessibility Act set to be implemented in businesses and governments, I got to learn about creating accessible content. I took part in OTW's internal accessibility classes and learned how to create accessible PDFs in InDesign and Acrobat using PAC (Programmatic Accessibility Checker). During my time at OTW, I dove into research to understand the underlying principles and learned how to correct errors identified by PAC. This experience helped me understand the importance of creating accessible content and how to ensure accessibility in my work.
